Avoid
Avoid! Ordered five cards from Card Factory with an estimate delivery of the next day. I risked it knowing that the Royal Mail don’t guarantee next day delivery because most of the time they do.
Card factory dispatched the cards on the day that they had been estimated to be delivered! So very much card factory not Royal Mail being slow here.
They’ve arrived this morning all sloshing around in a damaged box with them hanging out the end all dog eared.
Three of them are all bent, but they’re too late for me to send anyway as I had to buy more yesterday when they didn’t turn up.
I thought I’d try Card Factory after a bad experience with an online card competitor that are more expensive, arrived on time but not folded correctly.
Card Factory may be cheap, but they don’t do same day dispatch - despite implying they do when they give an estimated next day with a caveat that the Royal Mail don’t always achieve that timeframe — but they don’t actually dispatch them to even give RM a chance! Also, the packaging is not fit for purpose, I don’t expect £8.95 of cards to be sent out in an oversized cardboard box so they get all folded up and are slipping out the box to get dog eared.

I found it good prices and great range of cards. I felt that the address I wanted to send to seemed a bit complicated - but managed to do it. Payment was OK.

Thieves, selling items they never had.
Absolutely disgusting. Ordered a personalised memorial candle almost 2 months ago. I had to chase it up as it never arrived.
Customer services told me they don't do this product, so why charge me? Why advertise it? Why take my money and not refund it knowing its not ever going to arrive.
I asked to be refunded and the live chat agent CUT ME OFF. I have contacted trading standards

Today I visited the Metro Centre branch…
Today I visited the Metro Centre branch (upper green) and I was so pleasantly surprised with the service. I have never had a bad experience in Card Factory but I’ve never been greeted or asked if I’m looking for anything in particular…until today! Staff so lovely and just nice to receive good service even when you aren’t spending a lot of money.

So poor. My niece graduated and so decided to send her a balloon as a surprise the ballon arrived with a really big slit and deflated no replacement was offered
I received my cards in good time
I received my cards in good time, they were actually a day early but this was fine, the packaging is much better being a bubble wrap envelope, instead of cardboard packaging as sometimes the cards would be sliding out and could have been lost, so this way now is much better.

Awful service ordered a 30 birthday…
Awful service ordered a 30 birthday card on line 6 days later sent an email saying there was a problem sending it and gave me a refund 6 Days later missed the birthday and I didn’t know feel so upset I missed a special birthday !!!! Will never use again

Not worth the hassle. Customer NO Service
Where do I start been buying cards online for ages on various sites starting shopping from the card factory and my first few orders were great so on 12th of July spent ages personalising two cards for my brother who lives in Northern Ireland one from myself and one from my dad who is 93 and as my mum passed away a few weeks ago I wanted dad card to be special my order was excepted 13th July and just yesterday got an email from Charlie saying it was beyond there control and my order is cancelled but you can have free delivery on your next order so I replied asking why and saying it was an insult and has left me furious and without any cards can’t even salvage it with a belated as I will be nearly a week. Charlie again sent another generic email stating there is nothing more they can do as this fault has occurred to over 1000 customers . Well I’m sorry I feel I have to tell would be customer to be very aware of this problem and I hope customer care will be sending Charlie on a customer interaction course as he is a robot I think.

Using the Web site to personalise a…
Using the Web site to personalise a birthday card was easy and I can't fault it. The only problem is the awful postal service. I should have got my last order yesterday, (Saturday), but it didn't arrive. I have ordered cards before and they sometimes took as much as 3 or 4 days. I order a week before I need them now. I suspect you would do just as well if you used second class.
